Tee Shirt Advertising Agency
Written By: admin Posted On: July 7, 2007 Tags:If you stay up on what’s going on in the blogosphere, you’ve realized a lot of bloggers and business owners alike are trading t-shirts for a free review or mention on another’s blog. Shoemoney has a “Free Shirt Friday,” where he will give someone a quick mention on his blog in exchange for a t-shirt every friday. And, he’s not the only one jumping on the bandwagon, either.
Andrew sent me a shirt for a mention last week, which I still have to get around to posting a picture of sometime. I’ve even gotten a shirt from Hummer. Flippingrich is another site notorious for sending out shirts for a mention in exchange.
So, why the huge influx in t-shirt advertising? Because folks love to get free swag. If I wanted to get reviewed on a blog, would I rather send the owner a $7 t-shirt or order up a $200+ ReviewMe review?
Create a Central Hub For Business Exchange
Successful businesses stop someone’s pain or troubles. Tee reviews are a pain right now just because there is no central hub or orthodox way of exchanging the shirt for the review.
With the blogosphere growing at such the rate it is now, the person to start the first t-shirt review advertising agency will really bloom the idea and stand a chance of making a couple of dollars while creating a strong brand within the blogosphere.
Whoever starts the site, send me a t-shirt first and I will be happy to take a picture and write up a review for you :)!

did i miss some communication for one of my shirts? sorry. let me know what you have in mind.
Hey Derrik,
After reading for the second time that didn’t come off the way I meant it to originally, haha. I posted a comment on the mentioned URL, but it’s been edited.
You’re still welcome to send one my way if you’d like a picture!
I know I didnt follow through on a few things while I was on vacation in Alaska about 4 weeks ago. Im guessing it was then???
Anyway, send me your address and the size you want. I dont think I have any smaller than large anymore.
I wear my FlippingTShirt all the time.

Maybe I need to make some shirts for my site! I’ll do that and send you one. Sound like a plan? (#):D
Hey Bush,
Sounds like a plan!
Yeah, Bush. Count me in too. I’ll wear that bad boy.
Oh crap! So now I gotta make 2 T-SHIRTS?!
Hey you guys are stealing my idea. Which results in two things. Ill send you one if you send me one
…Deal (#):D
Bush, where should I send one?
If somebody started a site where bloggers and businesses could send in their t-shirts, have pics posted (like the business cards on bla.st … it would get a lot of buzz. Especially if the idea was to collect all the t-shirts to give to charities that need clothing donations.
Just a crazy idea. Somebody run with it …
I’ve also noticed this take off - which can only be a good thing.
The one problem I foresee is the world suddenly being swamped in free tees. If every blogger knows 10 other bloggers, and they all send each other a tshirt suddenly you have 10 shirts sitting on every bloggers desk - all with questionable artwork. Cotton prices will go through the roof as demand outstrips supply. Time to invest in American Apparel I think!
Now THAT is some serious speculation, Steve. Could the blogosphere be the next China? Except instead of steel and cemeent, it would be cotton. Hmmm.
SilentPillow.com is giving away tshirts too.
