Customer Service 101: Bla.st Responds to My Review

Written By: Posted On: April 12, 2007 Tags:

I was browsing around the blogosphere today when I noticed a bla.st side-board on someone’s blog; fitted with some striking, sexy, meridiancrest wood-grain pimpage.

Wait a second! My bla.st account was set to expire already! How do I still have advertisements running across their network?! Apparently since my bla.st review, Tim has taken it upon himself to hook me up with an extra month of bla.st advertising for free. And as you can read, I did not sugar coat anything– I told the honest truth. Talk about excellent customer service and a prime example in under-promise and over-delivering!

Tim realizes that I’ve supported his business and gives something that was not originally promised back as a reward. This is an excellent example of great customer service, and my hat goes off to him. I will definitely be sponsoring bla.st again once my time expires. What a return. Thanks Tim!

That’s pretty nice of them. It’s good business. Bla.st is a great idea. Their interface for getting setup and uploading your card is so clean and easy. I was really impressed with that

That is a great business model – rewarding the users as much as possible. I haven’t explored bla.st too much but after hearing that I am more interested.

I put a card up there some time ago. The click-through rate has been sluggish, but it’s free, and word is spreading. You can’t knock a freebie, and Tim seems like a decent bloke too.

    Shane,
You are absolutely right– it’s first class customer service and good business.

    Nate,
You are also right. Take some time to check it out, Time is a good guy.

    David,
It may be worth it to drop a couple dollars a month for top placement, consider the audience.

Now that’s great customer service! I signed up to Bla.st some time ago, put up that card, but never really cared to “investigate” further, but now i think i will :)

I’m very happy to say that I’ve also experienced lightning fast customer service from the bla.st website.

I’d like to share an email I received from them with you.

Hi Austin, that’s an awesome review, thanks so much!

I’ve bumped up your card by 2c/day for a year and have also added your blog to the list of reviews about bla.st:
