Of the online consumers ages 18-34, around 40% of them watch videos on the web once or more a week. This number is up from less than a third in 2007. In fact, there are less people watching TV that were surveyed; this is likely due to the fact they are spending more time online. Online videos are beginning to take the place of TV, because it is a fun alternative.Even 15% of people over the age of 35 say they watch online videos at least once a week.
Compared to a quarter of those surveyed who watched an online video at least once a week last year, that number has increased to one third. And a tenth of the surveyed people watch online videos every day.Over one third of men between the ages of 18-34 watch online videos each day. Around half of all viewers spend about 10 minutes or less on watching web videos.
